CORRIGENDUM
TO NOTICE INVITING TENDER

For Development of Common Facility (s) for
Management of Bio-medical Wastes in Mumbai

The last date for submission of duly filled in RFP/Tender document is extended from 21.01.2005 to 11.02.2005 upto 15:00 hrs at MPCB office, Sion.

The other contents mentioned in the tender notice remain unchanged.

Clarification Given On Points Raised During Second Pre-Bid Meeting Held On 13.1.2005

1 Bidders have requested to extend date of submission of RFP by 7 to 10 days Last date for submission of duly filled RFP documents is extended to 11.02.2005 upto 15.00 hours
2 In ARP document part-1 on page no. 48 at serial no. 6 under lab facility equipments to be provided can be hired for analysis and monitoring purpose. Laboratory facilities may be provided by the successful bidders at each of these facilities/as may be required or may avail the services from the available MoEF. Approved Laboratories. .
3 As per the serial no. 111 of first clarification to queries raised at the pre-bid meeting held on 4.12.2004. As follows: - Bags, containers used by generators have to be supplied by whom, at what rate and who is to bear the cost. Bio-degradable bags for collection and transportation of bio-medical waste shall be procured by the generators separately on his own or operator can also supply at cost.
4 As per the serial no. 103 of first clarification to queries raised at the pre-bid meeting held on 4.12.2004. As follows: - Since compliance of environmental standards are very important if there could be a dedicated incinerator used by operators and invested jointly. Each Facility shall have a separate incinerator. However, location of the same and permission of it’s operation shall be considered strictly as per CPCB guidelines. Incinerator shall not be permitted in residential areas. In such eventuality, the operator will have to go for services of other incinerator.
5 Duration of four month execution period will start from which date. From the date of taking over physical possession of land.
